Description
Access Herbicide: Proven Woody Weed Control for Australian Pastures and Non-Crop Areas
Access Herbicide is a dual-active, oil-based woody weed herbicide from Corteva Agriscience, combining 240 g/L Triclopyr (as the butoxyethyl ester) and 120 g/L Picloram (as the isooctyl ester) in a 389 g/L liquid hydrocarbon solvent. It delivers selective control of a wide range of woody and noxious weeds across pastures, fence lines, commercial areas, public lands, and forestry by basal bark and cut stump application. Because it uses diesel as its carrier, Access bypasses the limitations of water-based spraying and gets active ingredients directly into the vascular tissue of target plants. This makes it a reliable option where conventional foliar spraying is impractical or restricted.
Access controls over 50 weed species, including Lantana, Parkinsonia, Rubbervine, Prickly acacia, Camphor laurel, Leucaena, Brigalow, and multiple Acacia spp. Two application methods are available: standard basal bark (1:60 with diesel) and the Access ThinLine method (1:9 with diesel) for smooth-stemmed species. The ThinLine method reduces both diesel use and treatment time per stem. Cut stump treatment is available for larger plants that exceed basal bark size limits.
What weeds does Access Herbicide control?
Access controls 50+ woody and noxious weed species, including Lantana, Rubbervine, Parkinsonia, Prickly acacia, Camphor laurel, Chinee apple, Brigalow, and cacti species. Refer to the Directions for Use table for the full species list and application method for each.
Does Access Herbicide mix with water?
No. Access is designed for use with diesel distillate only. It will not mix with water. Use Biosafe as an alternative carrier to diesel where required.
What is the ThinLine method?
ThinLine is a targeted basal bark technique for smooth-stemmed species (Acacia spp., excluding Mimosa bush, Cockspur thorn, Corymbia spp., Leucaena, Parkinsonia). Mix at 1 part Access to 9 parts diesel and apply to the stem from ground level up to 5 cm high. This uses less diesel per treatment.

| Cut stump (Willow) | 4 L/60 L | Diesel or Biosafe |
| ThinLine (smooth-stemmed) | 1 L/10 L | Diesel or Biosafe |

Access Herbicide is legal to be purchased and applied by the general public in Qld. This may change if the situation you are spraying in is regulated by local or state government laws which you need to check on a case by case basis.
